Our paper An advanced framework for semantic querying of the dynamic world dataset which is a groundbreaking project utilizing the Semantique Python package for semantic querying on the Google Dynamic World dataset won us the Best Poster award at the conference.
My team and I designed a web application ‘EmergencyRoute’ designed to aid emergency responders during a hurricane event. The app test site was the Bahamas during Hurricane Dorian in 2019. We finished 2nd place and were awarded $ 200 cash price.
Our solution, Artificial Intelligence for Ocean farming (AIOFAR) won the Regional Prize Madrid/Spain at the Copernicus Masters Space Awards ceremony in Rome Italy.
