Hi there! I am Lisah Ligono, currently undertaking the role of an Erasmus Scholar within the Copernicus Master in Digital Earth Program (CDE). This program enables me to study in two countries (Austria and France) that will lead me to graduating with a European double master degree. This experience has enabled me to live in diverse regions in Europe, from the captivating mountanious landscapes of Salzburg to the coastal allure of Vannes.
My specialization lies in the Geodata Science track, where I am thoroughly engaged in the utilization of advanced technologies to analyze and interpret complex spatial data. I am intrigued by emerging technologies thus my motivation in working in the artificial intelligence domain.
Outside the classroom, I actively participate in hackathons and conferences, where I relish the opportunity to collaborate with peers and devise innovative solutions to pressing challenges. Our paper An advanced framework for semantic querying of the dynamic world dataset which is a groundbreaking project utilizing the Semantique Python package for semantic querying on the Google Dynamic World dataset won us the Best Poster award at the conference.
My team and I designed a web application ‘EmergencyRoute’ designed to aid emergency responders during a hurricane event. The app test site was the Bahamas during Hurricane Dorian in 2019. We finished 2nd place and were awarded $ 200 cash price.
Our solution, Artificial Intelligence for Ocean farming (AIOFAR) won the Regional Prize Madrid/Spain at the Copernicus Masters Space Awards ceremony in Rome Italy.
